I found the jumps from english to italian annoying, but the Anchor Bay disk does at least have the option for 'Italian' only which goes some way to fixing the problem, if u don't mind subtitles. My girlfriend has only seen Opera (I think) but she loved it and really wants to see some of his other stuff, especially Suspiria (I have successfully creeped her out using the soundtrack CD). The production values looked ridiculously low, so my expectations of the film were lowered a bit. I still want to try and squeeze a few of his films in before I go see it. But he's also working on an American production called, simply, Giallo. It's filming right now so should be out next year. It also stars Adrien Brody, so it's possible that it might even get a decent release. Too make matters worse, I don't know if I've seen a single Italian giallo film either. The closest is probably Dellamorte Dellamorte, which isn't a giallo at all. I really have no excuse outside of that I just have never gotten around to it. Though Argento has a new movie out this year that I will probably see, and hopefully by then I'll have gotten a few more of these films under my belt.
