I however liked Land more, but by a small margin. The commentary/narration and the acting did this one in for me. I give it a solid 8 out of 10 in the Romero cannon. That said, check out DEAD SET , from the UK. Possibly rhe coolest best conceived zombie yarn since the Dawn remake ( and an unofficial sequel to the awn remake) . Good valid points all. It had moments of brilliance, but the slow-burning feel just seemed at odds with the hand-held camera concept - compare this to the likes of Cloverfield or Rec (see: Quaranteen, the inferior remake) and its so obvious. I also don't understand why the girl shot herslef at the beginning. Disappointing. The main thing that got me about this movie was pace – it was so slow.
